The Good about Bosch PS50 Multi-X (PS50-2b)

This Bosch PS50 multi-x tool is pretty handy. It’s like the cordless version of Fein Multi-Master. I’d say it’s a must-have for a DIYhome person that needs multifunction tools like this one, and of course, for carpenters too. I found it’s very good at trimming in small or tight places with minimal issues. I could even use it perfectly well on working on a boat.The blades are durable enough. I had no problems with them whatsoever. As for the attachments, they were fine, so I guess that’s a plus too. The detail sanding pad can reach small places perfectly and lets you do just what you want to, and how you want to.

So, in my opinion, the major pros of this bosch power tool are it’s cordless, convenient to use, blades are durable and gets the job done well enough. Another thing I should mention is that the Bosch PS50-2b manual that comes with it is pretty detailed and easy to understand. Everything is explained crystal-clear and you should have no trouble with the tool if you read it thoroughly.

The Bad about Bosch PS50-2B

OK, enough praises. Let’s get to the dark side and discuss the cons. First off, I think there should be a vacuum attachment available, which isn’t. Secondly, major problem I found with it was the battery life. It’s way too less. Couldn’t last for more than a few minutes earlier. However, eventually, they provided adequate power reserves for this cordless power tool.Another downside is the choices available for blades and attachment isn’t a lot. That’s not much of an issue if you’re content with the available ones anyway. Also, I found it a little bit hard to turn off the switch, but I guess that could be a problem with just my Bosch multi-x tool. I’m yet to get it repaired, but it’s manageable and not really a big problem for me.
