What does Bosh Multi-x tool do?

This multipurpose power tool by Bosch, Bosch Multi-x, can actually do many things. We haven’t seen many tools of this kind that have so many great accessories available and let the user take great control of it. Accessories include: a plunge-cut blade, segmented blade, grout blade, sanding pad, 15 sanding triangles, scraper blade, OSCAD1 adapter, hex wrench and carrying bag. Here’s my complete Bosch Multi-X Review:

My Bosch Multi-X Review: What I like

Bosch Multi-X is one of those rare tools that can get into the smallest and tightest corners when no other tool in your toolbox can help you. You don’t even need any extra space for the actual cut.

In fact, it can reach into square corners with the right blade, a task too much for any rotary cutting wheel. Further, one can do some “carving” jobs of complicated geometry very difficult to reproduce with a linear cut.

What I personally love the most about this tool is it does exactly what it says, that too, almost perfectly. I know there are a few other tools that can probably make such cuts too, but none of the ones I know of are cordless. They’re all corded, which is a big inconvenience. Bosh multi-x, on the other hand, is really convenient for the user as it is cordless.

Another great feature of this product is, it provides ample power for heavier applications. I don’t know about you, but as a home user, 2.5 Amp is quite enough for me.

What do I NOT like about Bosh Multi-X?

Actually, there’s not a lot that I don’t like about this. You may not find the vibrating sound convenient at first, perhaps, but again, that’s something you’re gonna have to live with. In fact, there are far more overpriced products in the category that make way more noise. Compared to them, Bosh multi-x is an obvious winner.

Another downside is probably that it is a little bit expensive. The list price is actually $268, but hey! Don’t worry.  You can get it for just a mere $137 from Amazon by clicking here. My opinion is it is a superb investment. Compared to other tools of this kind which fail to users’ expectations most of the times, it’s a no-brainer.

Pros:

* Can easily reach in really small spaces, when no other tool can do it so conveniently.
* Sufficient power and heft to work for hours.
* Less weight, easy to control.
* Perfectly clean square cuts can be made.
* Cordless and quite easy to use.

Cons:

* Bit pricey if you buy from a local store.
* You’re gonna have to get used to the vibrating noise.

Bottom line:
